Copy a crosshair, or build your own
What a CSGO- share code is, how to turn one into console commands, and how to make a code out of a crosshair you built here.
There is no recording of this one yet. The steps below are the whole of it — they are what the video would be showing.
- 01Paste the codeA crosshair share code starts with CSGO- and has five groups after it. Paste it into the Crosshair page and the crosshair is drawn as the game would draw it, at the resolution you pick.
- 02If it is refused, check what kind of code it isMatch and demo share codes look identical to crosshair codes — same prefix, same length, same shape — and the only thing telling them apart is a checksum. A code copied from a match link decodes to nonsense, so it is rejected rather than turned into settings that mean nothing.
- 03Take the commands, or the codeThe commands panel gives you the cl_crosshair lines to paste into the console or into your config. Change anything with the sliders and the code updates with it, so you can hand the result to somebody else as one line.
- 04If it got smaller on 23 September, convert itCS2 changed how crosshair numbers are read that day: they are pixel counts now, and the game rescales them itself when your resolution changes. Nothing you did caused it. The converter under the code box takes the resolution you used to play at and gives back the code that draws the size you had.
